Ahead of London Fashion Week the worldwide famous supermodel Naomi Campbel navigated annual charity show “Fashion For Relief”.
Naomi established “Fashion For Relief” in 2005 and holds her first charity show in furtherance of victims of Hurricane Katrina that attacked the New Orleans. After it succeeded, the show became annual and has already been held in Cannes, London, New York, Mumbai, Moscow and Dar es Salaam and had a whip-round for millions of victims.
This year the supermodel gathered TV-stars, singers, fashion experts, it-girls, actresses, and a lot of friends from fashion industry for charity show in her native-town – London, and was raising money for Ebola disease control.
Ahead of the show, Naomi expressed hope for successful and incredible charity event on her Instagram account. It was doomed to success with such cluster of stars. The 44-years-old supermodel walked on the runway with Jourdan Dunn, Georgia May Jagger, Daisy Lowe, outrageous Vivienne Westwood, Rupert Everett, Katie Price, Nicola Roberts, Katie Piper and many others. Such fashion houses as Givenchy, Azzedine Alaia, Dolce&Gabbana, Balmain, Versace, Marchesa, Stella McCartney and others donated clothes for this charity event. Celebrities Sahra-Jane Crowford, Alesha Dixon, Laura Whitmore, dancer Caroline Flack and fashion lovers from Girl’s Aloud band also fit luxurious cloth and walked on the runway with Naomi Campbel. Ella Eyre also joined the celebrities on catwalk with her hit song “Gravity” in the end of the evening.
After the charity show all the wishing to put their names down for the fight against Ebola, were invited to the auction where they could vie for Alexander McQueen dress, Bvlgari watch, journey to the Maldives, Tracey Emin work of art and other interesting lots.
Fashion For Relief 2014 has produced over 1.4 million dollars, so Naomi hopes that this year she will raise not less.
