The largest diamond ever found in Angola has been discovered recently in Lulo mine. The lucky finder was Lucapa Diamond Company – Australian company, which specializes in diamond mining.

A 404.2ct diamond became the 27th largest in the world. It was given type IIa, which is the second highest rating existing for such gems. Only 2% of all diamonds in the world were given the same rating. It makes the stone extremely rare and precious.

By the way it is D-color gem, which means it is perfectly colorless and doesn’t contain impurities.

The price of this wonderful stone estimated by Lucapa Diamond Company is over $20 million. Now it is the biggest diamond found in Angola, breaking the record of previous champion – the Angolan Star with its 217.4cts.

Forbes reports the Lucapa Company plans to see the stone to finance the examination and enhancement at their diamond mine in Angola.

Fashion is totally my cup of tea, especially jewellery. I remember myself wearing something bright and shiny since childhood and even now I feel naked without jewellery. My addiction evolved into blog where you can find useful articles about latest jewellery trends and how to use them in your divine looks.
